Mom and I were treated like royalty (says Mom) by the lovely nuns at the hospital, who even decorated the rooms and made a Yule Log. Dad was home with four children ages 4-11, attempting to make Christmas jolly for all. We stayed in the hospital 5 days (way back when!) and on arrival home, big sis was peeved. She had been told by Daddy that she was getting a real live baby doll for Christmas, and she said that Mom and Dad kept "hogging" HER baby! |
